AbbVie is expanding one of its existing sites in Puerto Rico with an estimated investment of $30 million. This expansion will add to PR’s capabilities as a manufacturing destination for biotechnology and is expected to create as many as 100 new jobs during the next two years.   The proposed expansion will take place at AbbVie’s site located in the northern municipality of Barceloneta.
